Child Safety, Inc. is an event based promotional company that works
with the community to create awareness and revenue for charitable
and non profit organizations for children. Our clients deal with
issues of child safety and promote the preventative measures parents
can take to educate their children about dangers they face in
today’s society. D.A.R.E America, U.S Marines Corps Toys for Tots
and Child Watch are some of our clients.
What
does your company do?
We provide grassroots Public Relations for our clients at local
retail venues, schools, festivals and fairs. We help to provide a
personalized approach for our clients in a way that is far more
effective than traditional advertising done through television and
radio messages. We inform, educate, promote, and serve on behalf of
our clients in order to provide them with increased revenues (to
continue local and national efforts) and awareness of the causes
that they stand behind. Promotional buzz is created through handing
out fliers and other literature, offerings of Child ID Cards
sponsored by our clients for the children in our communities, free
fingerprinting sessions and toy drives for local children in the
Christmas season.
Is there Door to Door Sales or telemarketing involved?
There is absolutely no door to door or telemarketing efforts
involved in Child Safety’s Marketing strategies.
Why Are you Looking for people?
Event based marketing is truly the future for the Marketing world.
Traditional forms of advertising such as T.V , Radio and print are
becoming more and more obsolete as media messages saturate the
market and prices continue to rise. Promotional events have much
more flexibility in the messages and services that can be provided
to the public. Not to mention it is far more cost effective!
The
more success we have with our current clients the bigger and better
clients we will attract in the future. Nova is currently in a state
of expansion due to increased demands from our clients for wider
spread exposure. Promotional reps, account reps, and Managers are
needed to keep up with the explosion.

The biggest challenge for our company right now is finding the right
candidate. Although we have had an overwhelming response to our
recruitment efforts, not everyone is cut out for this type of
program. Because of the out of the box thinking that is necessary in
this industry, previous management, PR, Marketing or sales does not
necessarily translate to more value for our organization. We
typically focus on key characteristics.
1) People Skills. A candidate who is comfortable
dealing with people in a marketing, promotional sales or leadership
capacity is ideal.
2) Willingness to learn. Our business is a learned
industry in a results driven and competitive environment. Very few
people join our organization with all the skills necessary to
succeed in this industry. It is crucial that our candidates learn
and develop new skills quickly.
3) Ambition. We are looking for someone who wants more
than a weekly paycheck. You must be willing to learn and have a
strong desire to grow within a career.
4) Responsible and Accountable. We are looking for
candidates that continue to make a commitment for excellence
personally as well professionally. We pride ourselves that we only
promote within.
5) Positive and Dynamic Personality. At Child Safety
we work as a team in a fast paced and constantly changing
